Thriving at Williams

This is YOUR life.

Williams is a tight-knit community where each student is accepted and acknowledged for who they are. Students are encouraged to get involved in a plethora of community activities including arts and athletic co-curriculars, clubs, and service opportunities.

Happy to See You!

A Day at Williams

Rise & Shine

7:30 AM

Students begin arriving to campus, each day an administrator greets students as they get dropped off.

8:00 – 9:40 AM

Students start the day with two morning classes.

9:40 – 10:00 AM

A favorite part of the day for students is snack; warm bagels, muffins and breakfast sandwiches are available in the Student Center allowing for time to recharge, connect, or have a club meeting!

Mid-Morning Activity

10:05 – 10:25 AM

Most days the community enjoys a mid-morning activity,
usually each week we follow the same rotation:

  • Monday — Assembly
  • Tuesday — Advisors
  • Thursday — Clubs & Student Government
  • Friday — Class Meetings or grade-level programming

Mid-day Courses & Lunch

10:30 – 1:15 PM

Students have three more classes in the middle of the day, with a lunch break in-between. A forty-minute lunch block gives students time to study in the HUB or play games outside or in the gym to decompress after eating in the Student Center.

Double Block

1:20 – 2:20 PM

The Double Block gives faculty the opportunity to engage in larger projects, field trips or lab activities to enrich students learning experience.

Ninth Period

2:25 – 3:30 PM

The final period of the day is ninth period, essentially a university-styled office during which students can connect with teachers on homework or to deepen their understanding of coursework. On Wednesdays students enjoy “long ninth” for an hour when many clubs meet.

After School

3:30 – 5:15 PM

Students partake in arts rehearsals or athletic practices or games building strong relationships with fellow cast members and teammates. Williams also offers a complimentary after school program where students are able to study and socialize until their parents pick them up.
